h)r)b)p)q)k)Pawns and kings can move one square in any direction.
Bishops can move any amount of squares diagonally, and can jump.
Rooks can move any amount of squares horizontally or vertically, and can jump.
Horses and queens can move anywhere on the board.
Any piece can capture any other piece of the opposing color by moving onto its square, with the exception of horses. Horses can capture anything, except kings.
Like in normal chess, pawns can promote when they reach the other end of the board. Unlike normal chess, however, they can also promote to kings.
Horses have a single use gun. Any horse with a gun is indicated by a * next to it
on the board. To use the gun, click the horse, and then click on “Activate Gun”. Now,
any character you click on the board, including your own color will be captured. This
does not work on kings or other horses. Additionally, when a horse shoots a bishop of
its own color, the bishop becomes a king, and has a 20% chance of spawning with a gun.
